From April - July - Starts 2nd April (6.30 pm Game)

• Teams are formed on the night, so just arrive 10 minutes early to warm up!

• Register to play, fee includes (reduced Hockey Australia fee) and turf / lights hire)

• Communications by a WhatsApp group, a registration link coming soon!

Join Us for the Margaret River Hockey Club Muster!

Hey MRHC members! It’s that time again—our Club Muster is just around the corner!

Date: Thursday, 6th March
Time: 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Location: Hockey Turf, Margaret River

This is the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow members, catch up on club news, and get involved in upcoming events and activities! With Senior fixtures kicking off on Saturday, 29th March, and the Junior competition starts straight after the Easter school holidays, we’re only weeks away from hitting the Busselton turf for the season!

We’re also looking at the list of interested junior players from last year. If you’re keen to play this season, let us know, registrations are open now, if you have a friend keen to try hockey, get them to come along and try at the muster. We will have sticks ready. Whether you’re a long-time member or new to the club, everyone is welcome to join in the fun!

If you're new to hockey, or thinking about giving it a go this season, join us for a Come and Try Session for new players. Our Club Muster is the perfect chance to meet your coaches and fellow teammates.

Our Club Shop will be open so you can grab your team uniforms! Plus, SportsPower Margaret River will be on hand for all your gear—shoes, mouth guards, and shin pads — with a 10% discount on the night! So get set for pre-season training.

• Seniors start training from 10th March

• Juniors start training from 17th March

Recently back from India, Our Club Ambassador will be dropping in (before he heads to Germany) so much for being retired! We will have time to ask him plenty of questions, so come by and say Hi to our club legend - Aran Zalewski!

This year, player registrations will CLOSE on Friday 14th March.

Players and Parents - please can you help us for a couple of hours -

Together we can get these jobs done - ready for the season!

TURF TIDY

• rake and brush turf removing leaves, twigs etc (especially corner near large tree)

  • please bring a plastic gardening rake if you have one.

• sweep out dug out

• sweep paths along the fence line

• remove any weeds in bark chip

SHED TIDY

• Clean out the shed

• Check the team boxes are all present and correct (inc First Aid boxes)

• Check the goalie bags are all present and correct

• Label shelves - set up boxes for spare cones, bibs, training equipment etc

HQ TIDY

• Clean fridge (and stock)

• Stock & organise BBQ Tools / catering supplies

• Stock up Merch cupboard

Complete all jobs and enjoy Bacon & Egg Rolls together!

The fourth instalment of Good Day Sunshine is its biggest and finest to date, bringing one of Australian music's most iconic lineups to a convenient new location in the heart of Margaret River.

The Hookin2Hockey Carnival is a great opportunity for any of our new Hookin2Hockey players and Yr 3 - 6 players to join together in this popular annual event. Games are played at the Busselton Stadium so you can be part of a carnival atmosphere without having to travel far!

So get your name down quick and join in the carnival fun!

GAMES - 15 minutes with a break of 10 minutes between games
